Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA, seeks a dedicated Housekeeper for the 10:30 PM–7:00 AM night shift. This full-time, non-exempt role offers 40 hours per week with a potential signing bonus, subject to interview eligibility.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and follow simple English instruction.
• Employees must be at least 18 years old.
• Preferred: 3–6 months experience as a houseworker.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard cleaning in hospital areas including patient rooms, surgery areas, units, nurseries, nursing stations, lounges, isolation areas, bathrooms and corridors.
• Disinfect surfaces, dust, mop floors, vacuum carpets, empty trash and polish metal/porcelain fixtures.
• Burnish floors and operate automatic floor machines.
• Handle discharge/transfer unit cleaning and bed making as part of daily routine.
• PICK UP trash in all areas and transport to designated collection points.
