Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a housekeeping associate. This non-exempt role supports cleaning across hospital areas, with an evening shift (2) from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM and a 40-hour work week.

The position offers a pay range of $19.00 to $31.55 per hour; final offers reflect experience, skills and internal equity. Preferred candidates have 3–6 months of housekeeping experience and a reliable work ethic.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Preference for 3–6 months of housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs standard cleaning procedures across hospital areas to maintain a clean and healthy environment.
• Moves furniture and sets up meeting rooms as necessary.
• Burnishes floors and cleans floors with proper equipment.
• Performs discharge and transfer unit cleaning including bed making.
• Picks up trash and transports to designated areas.

Ability to read, write and follow simple English instruction
