Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, ID, is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper (Environmental Services Technician) to help maintain a clean, safe hospital environment and support patient comfort during the night shift.

You will disinfect patient rooms and common areas, replenish supplies, handle waste per safety standards, and assist in maintaining infection prevention. Swing shift is Mon-Fri 5pm–1:30am with every other weekend; competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with hospital staff, patients and visitors as needed.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and safety protocols.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the day and lift up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect hospital areas to maximize infection prevention and patient safety.
• Prepare patient rooms by replenishing supplies, cleaning floors and making beds.
• Collect, store, and dispose of medical waste per safety standards; assist with light projects as needed.
