Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise is hiring a Full-Time Housekeeper (Environmental Services Technician) for the evening shift. You will clean and disinfect patient areas, replenish supplies, prepare rooms, and handle waste while following safety protocols.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, and capable of lifting up to 50 lb, with excellent communication and teamwork to support infection prevention and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Able to communicate with hospital staff, patients, and visitors in a positive manner.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate priorities for tasks.
• Able to stand, walk, and perform housekeeping duties throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient areas to maximize infection prevention and safety.
• Replenish supplies, clean floors, make beds, and prep rooms.
• Handle and dispose of medical-related items following safety protocols.
• May perform carpet cleaning or refrigerator cleaning as part of projects.
