Job summary

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Full-time Housekeeper (Environmental Services Technician) in Boise on the Day Shift. You will clean and disinfect hospital areas to maximize infection prevention, prepare patient rooms, replenish supplies, and assist with project tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, reliable, and able to handle working around blood and bodily fluids with PPE. The role requires frequent standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lb.

• Able to communicate effectively with hospital staff, patients, and visitors.
• Able to stand, walk, and perform duties throughout the day.
• Able to lift up to 50 lb.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect various areas within the hospital to maximize infection prevention and patient safety.
• Prepare patient rooms by replenishing supplies, cleaning floors, making beds, and more.
• Collect, store, and dispose of medical-related items from treatment areas and perform light project work as needed.
