Qualifications

• Able to communicate/interface in an effective and positive manner with hospital staff, patients, and visitors.
• Able to stand and walk throughout the day to perform job duties.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lb.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions, communicate by telephone, and initiate communication with peers about priorities for tasks to be done.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect various areas within the hospital to maximize infection prevention, enhance patient safety, and increase visual appeal.
• Prepare patient rooms by replenishing supplies, cleaning floors, making beds, and more.
• Collect, store, and dispose of medical-related items from treatment areas; may perform project work like carpet and refrigerator cleaning.
