Job summary

Banner Health is opening a new emergency department in Buckeye, AZ. This Environmental Services role supports fast-paced housekeeping duties in a medical facility, including patient rooms and common areas, often working overnight on a 20-hour weekly schedule.

You will clean, disinfect, restock supplies, and assist in special projects while maintaining safety and high customer service for patients and staff. Collaboration with medical teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Read and understand material safety data sheets and cleaning chemical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms and assigned areas as part of the environmental services team.
• Perform tasks such as dusting, mopping, disinfecting, vacuuming and polishing according to policy.
• Empty hampers, trash, and medical waste containers; transport soiled linen.
• Inventory, restock and replenish supplies (toilet tissue, towels, soap, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and report repairs as needed.
• May perform special projects (windows washing, wall washing, heavy soil removal).
• Respond to questions from patients, staff and visitors and support high customer service standards.
