Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking an Overnight Environmental Services professional to maintain a safe, clean hospital environment at 55 Fruit Street. You will perform floor care, space cleaning, waste removal, and restroom sanitation to support patient care and facility operations.

Responsibilities include using floor machines, dusting, cleaning walls, and preparing spaces for events, with a focus on accuracy and independence while collaborating with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2–3 years' experience with hospital cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wax, strip, and polish floors; vacuum and shampoo carpets.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, equipment, and woodwork.
• Clean walls, ceilings, windows, blinds, doors, and other surfaces.
• Empty, clean, and sanitize waste receptacles in assigned areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, restock supplies as needed.
• Remove litter and debris from building grounds and surrounding areas.
• Operate floor care equipment and set up tables and equipment for events.
