Job summary

Bristol Hospice is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to serve as Warriors of the Night, delivering after-hours hospice care across Oshkosh to Appleton. This role requires autonomy, empathy, and the ability to manage evening, night, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include after-hours visits, triage calls, and coordinating with DPCS, RN Supervisors, and Case Managers. Travel across the Bristol Hospice Service Area is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with knowledge of hospice.
• Must understand hospice philosophy and needs of the terminally ill.

Responsibilities

• Perform after-hours and weekend visits and admissions as needed.
• Dispatch field nurses and staff to patient residences in a timely manner.
• Refill prescriptions, order supplies and DME, and assist coordination for patients and families.
• Document calls and outcomes in the call-tracking system.
• Receive start-of-shift reports and provide end-of-shift reports per location workflow.
• Other duties as assigned.
