Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with knowledge of hospice and telephone triage preferred.
• Current licensure as a RN in good standing.
• Able to understand hospice philosophy and needs of the terminally ill.

Responsibilities

• Perform after-hours and weekend visits and admissions as needed.
• Direct calls or route to appropriate RN/manager per scope of practice.
• Dispatch field nurses and staff to patients’ residences promptly.
