Job summary

AccentCare is seeking a Hospice Aide / CNA IPC in Kendall, FL to provide compassionate, hands-on care for hospice patients during night shifts. The role includes mobility assistance and daily caregiving tasks in home or facility settings.

Responsibilities include monitoring patient condition, documenting care, and collaborating with RNs and the care team while maintaining safety and infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Must be certified by the state as a nurse's aide with training and competency exam
• CPR certification required for direct patient care in specified states
• Must be listed on the state aide registry and eligible to provide care in homes, facilities, or hospitals

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on hospice care including hygiene, repositioning, and mobility support
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to RN and care team
• Support patients in homes or facilities with movement and activity while ensuring dignified end-of-life care
• Document care accurately reflecting the plan of care and interventions
• Uphold infection control and safety protocols in all settings
