Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking a skilled Rigging Specialist to plan, lay out, and install rigging components for lifting equipment and machinery on construction sites. You will follow plans, specifications, and industry standards while coordinating with supervision.

The role demands lifting, positioning, and aligning loads, plus the ability to estimate materials, time, and resources and to communicate effectively on a busy site. Strong safety awareness is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong working knowledge of rigging and load handling.
• Ability to read, understand and transmit written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and rigging large-scale heavy equipment.
• Position, align, or level machines, equipment, and structures.
• Shakeout and rigging for crane hoisting with proper crane signals.
• Guide rigged items into position using a tag line.
• Estimate sizes, distances, quantities, time, costs and resources.
• Inspect subordinates' work for compliance and take corrective action.
• Select rigging components and develop basic rigging procedures.
• Identify suitable rigging points based on anticipated tension.
• Maintain understanding of Load Handling Equipment dynamics and hazards.
