Waste Management in Morristown, IN is seeking a Driver to safely operate a heavy-duty truck, loading and transporting large intermodal containers from the rail facility to the landfill's working face. The role requires precise backing, adherence to safety rules, and coordination with the rail foreman and Landfill Operations.

Shifts are Sunday–Thursday, 3:00pm–12:00am, with strict safety screenings. A valid CDL Class A is preferred, plus at least 1 year of recent truck experience and the ability

Qualifikationen

• 1 year of experience operating a truck or military driving within the last 7 years.
• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public and complete reports.
• Successfully complete pre-employment screening, including drug screen and physical.

Aufgaben

• Operates vehicle in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
• Positions and secures intermodal containers on rail/truck safely.
• Conducts pre- and post-trip inspections and completes DVIR documents.
• Reports unsafe situations or issues to Manager or Supervisor.
• Coordinates with rail foreman and Landfill Operations for material movement.
• Performs scheduled duties and communicates clearly in writing or voice.
