Job summary

Gerdau North America is seeking a Night Shift Heat Treat Operator to run heat treating processes, ensure quality, and meet schedule requirements. You will work with a team to optimize production, follow 5S and safety protocols, and operate SAP systems, forklifts, and overhead cranes on nightly shifts.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 3+ years of relevant experience, forklift/crane certification, and strong problem solving and communication skills.

• Forklift and crane certification required or as noted in the posting.
• Strong problem solving and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve production problems in a timely manner.
• Operate heat treating processes and ensure quality and safety.
• Run optimal heating recipes and follow ISO procedures.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping and safety standards in the work area.
• Operate SAP, forklifts and overhead cranes, and coordinate with team.
