Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely transport raw materials on-site and in quarries. You will perform pre-shift inspections, monitor loads, and coordinate with supervisors to ensure efficient operations.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Operate haul trucks to safely transport raw materials within the plant or quarry.
  • Conduct pre-shift inspections and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
  • Monitor material loads to ensure proper placement and volume.
  • Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to coordinate operations.
  • Support plant operations by assisting with general labor tasks as needed.

Conditions of Employment
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
