Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a heavy equipment operator to operate haul trucks, conduct pre-trip checks, and follow safety protocols on-site. You will communicate with teammates and supervisors to maintain smooth site operations and assist with related tasks as needed.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Operate haul trucks to transport materials within the site.
  • Perform pre-operational checks and basic maintenance on equipment.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure safe operation of the haul truck.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Assist with other tasks as needed to support site operations.

Conditions of Employment
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
