Job summary

The CADES Learning Center in Springfield, PA is seeking an Overnight Supervisor to oversee up to five CLA homes under PA ODP 6400 regulations, supporting individuals with IDD and related needs. You will supervise staff, ensure health and safety, and maintain compliant documentation within the electronic records system.

Regular third shift Monday–Friday with on-call weekends as needed; require CPR/First Aid and valid PA driver’s license, plus experience supervising a unionized workforce and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field preferred.
• Three (3) years’ experience with individuals living with multiple disabilities; strong safety and communication support.
• Two (2) years supervision of staff: recruitment, leadership, training, performance, discipline, termination.
• Experience working in and managing a unionized workforce.
• Knowledge of Pennsylvania DPW 6400 regulations.
• Fast-paced work ethic with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Proven judgment with independent problem solving and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision of assigned staff in recruitment, leadership, coaching, training, performance management, promotion, discipline, and termination.
• Address performance issues with consistency, immediacy, and respect to ensure high-quality support.
• Comply with CBAs and scheduling procedures within a unionized environment; handle transfers, promotions, disciplinary actions, grievances.
• Model effective service delivery, communication, and problem-solving with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor staff schedules and ensure ratio alignment; coordinate with managers to avoid gaps in resident support.
• Ensure Relias training due dates are met and documented.
• Complete orientation for new DSPs and coach on direct care skills and ISP mastery.
• Participate in monitored meetings: ISP, team, medication, behavior, and collaborative care.
• Handle on-call responsibilities and off-site meetings as required.
• Collaborate on DSP performance evaluations and staff development.
• Maintain regular, timely communication and ensure compliance with program requirements.
• Review and analyze staff documentation; retrain as needed to address concerns.
• Train staff on ISP concepts and required procedures.
• Audit documentation, facilities, safety, DME, and vehicle conditions for compliance.
• Operate agency vehicles and ensure safe transport per protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
