Job summary

Price Rite in Bridgeport, CT is seeking an Assistant Night Crew Chief to oversee night crew pricing, stocking, facing and rotation of merchandise. You’ll help maintain clean, well-stocked aisles and manage display quality with emphasis on correct pricing and shelf presentation.

Requirements include English literacy, basic math, ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and operation of Telxon and power equipment. This is a full-time, on-site role with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Basic math skills for daily tasks.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Ability to stand for work.
• Ability to bend and reach as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to operate a Telxon and related equipment.
• Ability to push/pull heavy 4-wheel equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor night crew pricing, stocking, facing and rotation.
• Maintain an attractive, clean, and well-stocked store image.
• Follow company policies and store rules.
• Adhere to shift hours as scheduled by supervisor.
• Promote customer satisfaction with correctly priced items.
• Rotate products to ensure freshest stock available.
• Build product displays and maintain backroom organization.
• Operate cash register for night crew as needed.
• Follow cleaning and sanitation schedules.
• Notify supervisor of shortages and assist with restocking.
