Price Rite in Torrington, CT is seeking an Assistant Night Crew Chief to oversee night crew pricing, stocking, facing and rotation in the grocery area to maintain an attractive, well-stocked store image.

The role requires English proficiency, basic math, and physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs; responsibilities include cash handling, safety compliance, and aiding in community-focused store operations.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills required.

• Ability to operate Telxon.
• Ability to push/pull 4-wheel equipment loaded with product.

Responsibilities

• Observe store rules and policies.
• Maintain a neat appearance and follow dress code.
• Follow shift hours as scheduled by supervisor.
• Adhere to local, state and federal health and civil code regulations.
• Promote customer satisfaction with correctly priced items.
• Rotate products to ensure freshness.
• Maintain proper shelf allocations for maximum sales.
• Follow sanitation schedule with night crew supervisor.
• Operate the bailer and related equipment as needed.
• Utilize register for cash handling.
• Use store security systems and keys per policy.
• Complete Food Safety Certification training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
