The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Grocery Department leader at our Milwaukee store to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a safe, clean shopping environment. You will supervise a team, oversee day-to-day grocery operations, and support scheduling, inventory, and promotional activities.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, conflict-resolution, and leadership skills, plus prior grocery experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math and handling stressful situations.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Grocery experience.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Communicate information to associates and manage department goals.
• Develop scheduling to handle customer volume and supervise inventory.
• Train associates and participate in performance appraisals.
• Adhere to laws, safety guidelines and company policies.
• Manage inventory, pricing updates, and seasonal promotions.
