Stamford Health is hiring a Fulltime Staff RN for the General Surgery Unit on the night shift (7pm–8am), 37.5 hours/week with rotating weekends/holidays. The role emphasizes compassionate, person-centered care, adherence to the Nursing Process, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Valid license as Registered Nurse in Connecticut.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Maintain minimum of 6 contact hours annually.

• Provides direct patient care and advocates for patients.
• Supervises non-RN personnel and acts as a resource for staff.
• Preceptor to new staff and students as requested.
• Adheres to hospital policies and coordinates care per nursing process.
• Documents care accurately and timely.
• Maintains patient safety and privacy.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to implement plans of care.
• Supports performance improvement and regulatory readiness.
