Job summary

Thrive Foods in Modesto, CA is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily freeze-drying operations, lead production teams, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. The role requires experience in food manufacturing, strong GMP/HACCP knowledge, and a track record of driving improvements.

The position supports 24/7 production with shifts including evenings and weekends. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and proficiency with ERP/MES

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
3+ years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing or related processing.
Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 production environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the freeze-drying production facility and ensure efficiency, safety, and quality.
Lead and develop production teams; manage schedules and staffing across shifts.
Monitor freeze-drying, packaging, and related processes; troubleshoot equipment or process issues.
Ensure GMP/HACCP compliance and maintain accurate documentation for audits.
Promote safety, 5S, and Lean manufacturing practices; drive continuous improvement.
