Job summary

Thrive Life, LLC in Modesto, CA is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily freeze-drying operations, lead a production team, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time production in a fast-paced facility.

You will monitor processes, troubleshoot equipment, uphold GMP/HACCP standards, and drive lean improvements while coordinating with maintenance and QA to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing, freeze-drying, or related processing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, 24/7 production environment; flexible shifts/weekends as needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP/MES systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage production teams to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
• Oversee freeze-drying, packaging, and related processes for quality.
• Ensure GMP, HACCP, and regulatory compliance; support audits.
• Enforce safety, proper PPE use, and lean manufacturing practices.
• Drive productivity improvements, reduce waste, and optimize throughput.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
• Support Lean and 5S initiatives.
