Job summary
Freeze-Dry Foods LLC in Modesto, CA is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician (Day Shift) to support the Supply Chain team. You will learn to install, troubleshoot, and maintain production and facility equipment, while following safety, predictive, and productive maintenance processes.
Responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues, and performing repairs on packaging equipment and related systems.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; basic math, reading, writing and computer skills.
- AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a plus; 4+ years manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some ammonia / refrigeration and HVAC.
Responsibilities
- Learn to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment, adhering to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes.
- Learn to provide/emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance on packaging equipment and machines.
- Learn to diagnose problems, replace parts, test and make adjustments; perform preventive maintenance and use hand and power tools.
