Job summary

KanPak, a Golden State Foods company, is seeking an energetic Forklift Operator for our Penn Yan, NY location. This role requires flexibility to work weekends and overtime, and involves receiving, selecting, storage and loading of all products while safely operating material handling equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse and/or forklift operator experience.
• Good oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, select, store and load products while safely operating material handling equipment.
• Unload inbound shipments and move materials to storage or staging locations.
• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged.
• Maintain accurate inventory through proper scanning and record-keeping.
• Uphold quality assurance standards and good housekeeping.
