Job summary

KanPak, a Golden State Foods company, is seeking a Forklift Operator at our Penn Yan, NY location. The role focuses on receiving, storing, and loading products with safe operation of material handling equipment. Flexibility for weekends and overtime is required.

The position offers a rotating 12-hour shift with pay at $20.50/hour plus a $1 night shift differential. Responsibilities include accurate inventory handling, quality and safety compliance, and teamwork to support business goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year warehouse and/or forklift operator experience.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills; ability to navigate multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move material to storage or staging locations.
• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged.
• Scan and record all transactions to reflect correct inventory at all times.
• Maintain good housekeeping and overall cleanliness of work areas.
• Performs other duties as required.
