KanPak, a Golden State Foods company, is seeking a Sanitation Technician to support our Penn Yan, NY facility. This role requires flexibility to work weekends and overtime in a 24/7 operation, maintaining a clean and compliant production environment.

The position involves coordinating quality activities, sustaining GMP standards, and preparing for inspections, with hands-on sanitation of floors, walls, equipment, and production spaces.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of Experience in the Manufacturing Industry.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate GSF Quality activities and operations to meet objective for quality, food safety, integrity, regulatory compliances, cost, safety and customer satisfaction at KanPak.
• Participate in formulating and administering division’s short and long range goals and objectives for business growth.
• Comply with KanPak policies & GMP as well as state and federal law to ensure food safety and food defense in plant.
• Comply with SOPs.
• Prepare for state, federal and customer inspections.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment to remove all remnants of product in machines and surrounding area.
• Clean and sanitize walls, shelves, racks, conveyor belts, floors and all other equipment and machinery in production rooms.
• Properly handle products, use equipment, keep accurate logs and follow sanitation practices in accordance with food safety guidelines.
• Communicate potential issues, concerns, or risks with supervisor to achieve resolution.
• Consistently works with chemicals on a daily basis, must wear proper PPE while handling Chemicals.
• Perform related duties as required.
