Job summary

Pennex is seeking a Forklift Operator for the Night Shift at our Wellsville, PA location. The role involves operating a forklift to move materials, load and unload, and support seamless production flows on a 12-hour night schedule from 7pm to 7am with rotating days.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1+ year of related experience, the ability to read safety and operating documents, and must pass safety training, pre-employment physical, and a drug screen. Sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must attend and pass Forklift Operators Safety course.
• Must possess a valid Forklift License.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; Sponsorships are not available.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Positions forks under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, extrusions, or logs and transports load to designated area.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Loads and unloads trucks as required.
• Empties trash containers as needed.
• Replaces propane bottle and refuels forklift as required.
• Assists with maintaining a neat and orderly plant and performs general housekeeping duties.
