Job summary

Penske Logistics in Louisville, KY is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. You will operate sit-down, stand-up, reach, clamp, and cherry picker forklifts to move, load, locate, unload, relocate, stack and count merchandise with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working the Tuesday-Friday night shift (6:00pm–4:30am). Prior warehouse experience is not required but preferred; full-time hours with benefits

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Read work orders or receive instructions to determine work assignments and equipment needs.
• Loads and unloads trailers; moves materials within the warehouse.
• Accurately match numbers & letters.
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Accurately stage and sort products for loading.
• Opens and closes dock doors.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
