Job summary

Schnellecke Logistics in Kentucky is seeking a Forklift Operator to move materials throughout the warehouse and loading dock areas, operating sit-down forklifts safely and efficiently.

You will perform daily pre-shift inspections, load and unload trailers, and transport goods between dock, staging, and storage areas while ensuring product integrity and accurate inventory tracking with RF scanners or manual systems. A strong safety mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of forklift operating experience.
• Ability to obtain powered industrial equipment certification.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Experience with RF scanners and WMS is preferred.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials between the dock, staging, and storage areas
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections and ensure equipment is in safe working condition
• Load and unload trailers while maintaining product integrity and proper weight distribution
• Accurately scan and track inventory movements using RF scanners or manual systems
• Ensure materials are properly staged and stored according to operational requirements
• Follow all safety standards, operating procedures, and company policies
