Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is hiring for a forklift operator responsible for moving merchandise, loading and unloading trucks, and stocking the sales floor with accuracy and safety. The role involves standing for long periods, operating a forklift, and participating in daily club openings and closings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Forklift operating experience preferred, but not required.
• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Operates a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
• Inspects forklifts prior to use and follows safety standards.
• Loads and unloads merchandise and materials to/from delivery trucks.
• Inspects and prepares delivery trucks for unloading.
• Receives merchandise and materials accurately.
• Pallets merchandise for storage and sale floor placement.
• Transports merchandise and pallets throughout the club.
