Job summary

Wayne Farms in Georgia is seeking a dedicated team member to operate forklift equipment, set up the debone area with coolant and tubs, and transport finished product through the production line.

You will work unsupervised, with night, weekend, and extended shifts, wearing PPE and following safety procedures, with opportunities to move between departments as needed in a wet, hot environment. High school diploma required; poultry experience preferred.

• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
• Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.

Responsibilities

• Set up the debone area with coolant, tubs and transport combos.
• Transport finished product to the scales and to the manifest area.
• Move product to be reworked.
• Maintain forklift in sanitary manner and replace battery when needed.
• Work cooperatively with supervisors and coworkers.
• Perform tasks assigned by management and other departments as needed.
• Follow directions and adapt to additional duties as assigned.
