Job summary

Wayne Farms is seeking a Forklift Operator to support the debone area and transport finished products. The role requires operating forklifts, maintaining sanitation, and following all safety policies and regulatory guidelines.

The candidate should be able to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays, and be willing to perform additional duties as assigned in a fast-paced poultry production environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Relative poultry industry experience preferred.
• Basic math functions and skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up the debone area with coolant, tubs and the transportation of combos.
• Transport finished product to the scales and to the manifest area.
• Move product to be reworked.
• Maintain forklift in sanitary manner and replace battery when needed.
• Work cooperatively with supervisors and coworkers.
• Do all tasks assigned by members of management.
• Follow directions and work in other departments as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
