Job summary

Performance Food Group, a leading foodservice distributor, seeks a Forklift Operator to join its warehouse team in Temple, TX. You will operate forklift and pallet jack, move inventory, and support safe, efficient distribution operations while upholding GMP standards.

Responsibilities include locating storage slots, replenishing pick slots, conducting safety checks, and preparing reports. Must have a high school diploma and 6+ months warehouse experience; forklift certified preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6+ months warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly; able to lift 10–90 pounds depending on shift.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Locate proper slot on storage racks and set pallets using forklift or hand stack.
• Transport incoming freight to inventory and to freezer as needed.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock per next day’s work orders.
• Rotate stock and remove outdated inventory per policy.
• Follow safety policies and maintain GMP compliance.
