Job summary

Americold is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our Vineland, NJ team. Under supervision, you will safely receive, store, and ship food products using a variety of forklifts and RF equipment, while maintaining accuracy and safety standards.

You will be responsible for efficient material handling, inventory tasks, and adhering to OSHA guidelines in a cold, controlled environment. The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to work evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight using appropriate forklift equipment.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick and assemble orders for shipment.
• Check freight for accuracy, damage, and infestation; label, wrap, and pack as directed by management.
• Meet production standards while maintaining a clean, orderly work environment.
• Perform other duties such as inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
