Job summary

XPO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely move palletized freight on the dock, load and unload trailers, and operate forklift and pallet jacks. This night-shift role offers competitive benefits for those scheduled to work 30 hours or more per week.

Experience with loading and unloading trailers and a strong safety mindset are important as you work on a non-climate-controlled dock environment. XPO emphasizes efficiency and reliability in daily operations.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Able to perform basic math with or without a calculator.
Willing to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays.
Strong attention to detail and desire to succeed.

Responsibilities

Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
Use appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack and forklift.
Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
Work in a safe, efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies.
Use mobile handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
Work on a dock that is not climate-controlled for extended periods.
