Job summary

XPO is hiring a Forklift Operator for its dock operations in the United States. This role involves sorting, loading, and unloading freight, using forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensuring freight is secured inside trailers. The position requires flexibility to work various shifts and adherence to safety policies.

Training and benefits are provided for those scheduled to work 30+ hours weekly. Night and day shifts are available, with pay starting at an hourly rate and a responsive benefits

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to perform basic math with or without a calculator.
• Ability to work varied shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Preferred dock/warehouse and forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Operate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies.
• Adhere to company safety policies while working on the dock.
• Use handheld devices to scan and track shipments.
• Work on a dock not climate-controlled for extended periods.
