Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking a Freight Handler Lead in Eagan, MN, reporting to the Operations Supervisor. This role requires leading by example, ensuring on-time arrival, and maintaining a safe, organized dock environment.

You'll coordinate with dispatch and assist in loading/unloading freight during a Monday-Friday overnight shift. Ideal candidates have forklift experience and some supervisory experience, with strong communication and problem-solving skills to guide the team and

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Occasionally lift/move up to 90 pounds.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all team members are on time and ready for work.
• Inspect the dock to make sure it is a clean and safe work environment.
• Coordinate dock operations with dispatch.
• Meet with Operations Supervisors for daily assignments.
• Assist with loading and unloading a wide variety of freight.
