Job summary

Clean Harbors in Eagan, MN is seeking a Travelling Forklift Operator to move equipment and materials between inbound and outbound docks. This hands-on role supports efficient, cross-docking and on-site logistics operations, with a flexible shift and travel across yards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–3 years in driving or logistics support.
• Valid driver's license; forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate yard vehicles to transfer bins, vans, trailers, and tanker trucks.
• Support cross-docking by positioning inbound/outbound equipment for quick unloading/reloading.
• Ensure wheel chocks and jack stands are in place before transport.
• Review MSDS or manifests when handling hazardous materials.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections for safety and efficiency.
• Placard and stage equipment per storage requirements.
• Move vehicles safely in busy yard while following speed limits.
