Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions in Eagan, MN is seeking a Freight Handler (Midnight-8am) to load and unload freight from trailers using forklifts and pallet equipment. This safety-sensitive role requires operating equipment efficiently and safely, with certification as needed.

The position offers a set schedule (Mon-Fri, Midnight-8am), comprehensive benefits, and biweekly pay. Candidates must meet the physical demands and complete a pre-employment skills assessment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 90 pounds.
• At least six months of verifiable forklift experience.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment skills assessment.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trailers utilizing forklifts, pallet jacks, and/or hand cart.
• Use handheld scanners to track and document freight through the network.
• Identify, sticker, and stage inbound freight.
• Verify the condition of freight to ensure quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
