Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking a Freight Handler Lead in Eagan, MN, to lead daily warehouse duties with a safety-first mindset and clear communication. The role requires accountability for the team and hands-on supervision during night shifts.

The Lead will collaborate with Dispatch and Operations Supervisors, assist with loading/unloading freight, and ensure a productive, on-time operation in a non-exempt, full-time environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds; occasional up to 90 pounds.
• Previous forklift experience – preferred.
• Previous supervisory or management experience – preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• This position requires successful completion of a pre-employment skills assessment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all team members are on time and ready for work.
• Inspect the dock to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Coordinate dock operations with dispatch.
• Meet with Operations Supervisors for daily assignments.
• Assist with loading and unloading a wide variety of freight.
