Job summary

Conagra Brands in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a production machine operator to join our onsite team. You will safely operate and maintain plant machinery, perform quality checks, and collaborate with the line lead to identify cross-training opportunities.

You will follow training documents on the assigned line and participate in cleaning and daily operations while ensuring SQF and GMP compliance. This role reports to the production team lead and offers overtime potential.

Qualifications

• Willing to work in a food manufacturing environment.
• Overtime availability, typically 4 hours before or after a shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb stairs, lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate, perform preventative maintenance, and perform corrective maintenance on plant machinery to exceed planned performance measures.
• Perform quality checks as specified in procedures.
• Partner with the line lead to determine opportunities for cross training.
• Follow all training documents for job on assigned line.
• Participate in cleaning processes.
• Communicate with line lead and maintenance to ensure issues with assigned equipment are fixed promptly.
• Follow and comply with all Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
• All other tasks or projects as assigned by the shift supervisor or the operations manager.
