Job summary

Loyola Medicine is seeking a Floor Technician for the Night Shift to maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment across the facility. You will perform daily cleaning, buffing, bonneting, and floor care in assigned areas, supporting quality patient care and teamwork.

The role requires 1-2 years of related experience; preferred is a High School Diploma with on-the-job training. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $21.10 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
• 3-5 years of previous job-related experience

Responsibilities

• Performs daily cleaning, buffing and bonneting procedures in assigned areas.
• Performs striping and waxing of floors and surfaces as assigned.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary, safe and orderly environment for health care providers, patients and visitors.
• Operates equipment safely and proficiently for daily and project floor care.
• Logs and reports maintenance needs and equipment status.
• Assists in special projects, new construction turnover, room refresh, etc.
