Job summary

Memorial Hospital Shilo is seeking a dedicated Floor Finisher / Housekeeper to clean and refinish floors, including buffing, stripping, and waxing, in a hospital setting. You will ensure hygienic environments for patient areas and support operating rooms as needed.

The role is full-time (40 hours/week) with a night shift from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM, and includes rotating holidays and every-other-weekend work. Prior floor care and hospital experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2-5 years of experience in housekeeping or floor care is listed.
• Healthcare setting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs floor care and project cleaning in assigned areas.
• Keeps equipment clean and functional.
• Handles hazardous and infectious waste properly.
• Reports defects to supervisor.
• Responds to emergency spills according to procedure.
