Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in the Atlanta area is seeking Floor Techs for the healthcare environment on the third shift. The position is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a starting rate of $19 per hour, and the second shift runs from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., located in Northeast Atlanta area.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience using chemicals and floor-care equipment.
• Experience in hospital or healthcare setting preferred but not required.
• Knows how to read a material safety data sheet (MSDS).
• Knowledge of cleaning chemical spill cleanup procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs floor care in assigned areas following schedules and methods.
• Strips and waxes floors.
• Maintains floors by spray buffing, burnishing, or shower-scrubbing and top-coating.
• Shampoos carpet and removes stains.
• Follows safety procedures and uses barriers and signage.
• Complies with chemical handling, labeling, and disposal procedures.
• Maintains cleanliness of equipment and reports repairs.
• Cleans areas and assists with room set-ups and patient-related tasks.
