Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Seasonal RN Registered Nurse Float for 6 months, dayshift (7a–7p). The role offers $60.00 per hour with a focus on safe, high-quality patient care and teamwork across units.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited RN program, hold an active Florida RN license, and maintain BLS; ACLS/NRP/PALS/CPI are required within defined start dates. Apply to join a large UHS health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current BLS certification at time of hire.
• Florida RN license or compact license.
• Required 2 years full-time or 3 years part-time experience in acute care.
• Additional certifications required at start date or intrafacility transfer: ACLS, NRP, PALS, CPI, NIH within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care to patients per facility policies and standards.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, basic computer, and customer service skills required.
