Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a night shift, full-time Float Pool Registered Nurse in Topeka, Kansas. The RN will coordinate safe patient care, assess patient needs, and continuously revise care plans while delegating tasks to the care team.

Qualifications

Associate degree in nursing required.
Current Kansas RN Licensure required.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.
ACLS required for Telemetry, ICU and PCU units.

All required certifications must be completed within first year of employment.

Responsibilities

Coordinate safe patient care delivery under Nurse Director/Manager.
Assess patient and family needs, set goals, and continually revise the care plan.
Delegate care to team members to optimize outcomes.
Adhere to the Kansas Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
