Kootenai Health in Idaho is seeking a Part Time Nights RN to join the Nursing Resource Team (NRT). This float pool covers medical-surgical, behavioral health, and addiction recovery units, delivering patient-centered care across hospital departments.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license and minimum 3 years of patient-facing RN experience.
• ADN or diploma required; BSN or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans, implements, and documents nursing care for an assigned patient population in a variety of care areas.
• Assists physician during examinations and procedures.
• Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
• Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patient and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function.
• Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned.
