Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Participates in training and safety programs to aid APC’s zero-accident goals.
• Retrieves set up information and follows job jacket guidelines.
• Safely monitors production machinery, ensuring quality and waste adhere to specs.
• Maintains clean and safe work areas, performing sanitation duties as required.
• Completes quality check sheets and adheres to plant safety rules.
• Attends scheduled meetings and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
• Able to work all scheduled shifts and overtime hours.
• Trains new employees as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
