Job summary

FIS is seeking a production finishing operator to set up and run a range of automated finishing machines on the production floor. You will feed, fold, cut, stitch, adjust settings and monitor quality to meet client specifications.

Responsibilities include reviewing job schedules, completing machine set-ups, performing quality checks, packaging finished goods, and logging material usage and production time in the Monarch database for cost tracking.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Typically 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Bonus: 4 years of fast production machine experience.

Responsibilities

• Review job schedule and locate materials and tickets on the floor.
• Set up finishing machines (folder, cutter, saddle stitcher) per specs.
• Operate one or more finishing machines to complete jobs.
• Evaluate production samples against client specs and quality checklists.
• Package finished product and ensure tickets are followed before shipment.
• Record material usage, scrap, and production time in Monarch for cost tracking.
